Rolfing® Structural & Movement Integration
Rolfing® Structural and Movement Integration is a system of manipulation and somatic movement education that reorganizes and reeducates the bodymind, releasing chronic strain in the body. It facilitates the discovery of new options in terms of posture, movement and breath, enhancing our potential for balance, coordination, flexibility and strength.
Rather than being a collection of separate parts, our bodies are a seamless network of tissues. These connective tissues – the fascia - surround, support and penetrate all the muscles, bones, nerves, and organs.
Rolfing® works on this web-like complex of connective tissues to release, realign, and balance the whole body in the field of gravity.
My Rolfing® work is influenced by my background in Psychology and the many approaches I have studied that foster our self-healing, self-regulating nature, including Calatonia, Biodanza, Craneosacral Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, the work of Hubert Godard, SOMA Embodiment®, and meditation.

“Rolfing® does not “cure” symptoms. The goal of Rolfing is a more resilient, higher-energy system...the greater energy does its own beneficial work in healing and relaxing. Rolfing does not achieve perfection: it begins a process.”
